Hydrogen: yes.
Super-efficient gas turbine or hydrogen fuel cell: yes
Solar: I'm not sure (okay to make compressed hydrogen to replace gasoline, any other purpose is to expensive).
Geothermal: yes.
Nuclear Thorium molten salt: yes!
Fusion: please, do it if you can! <3

That's our energy dreams "economy". I you can scale it and save the planet, awesome.

Otherwise it's the end, because gasoline in cars and natural gas for heating are IRREPLACEABLE from the economic point of view with modern technologies and STRATEGIES, even theoretically.

Do you have a good idea how to produce H2 splitting water splitting Thorium or taking the heat from deep underground of Earth? Or do you know how to make fusion scale in the next 5 years. If not, we're screwed.

A giant solar farm around Hawaii in the ocean making compressed or liquid H2 is the best business you can have if you solve the distribution problem.

I'm moving there soon. To start selling your H2 turbines, fuel cells, and the hydrogen. More south, cheaper the solar. MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper.
